We are going to be doing a web-quest on different types and aspects of government
Introduction
To be an educated citizen we need to have an understanding of our government, its duties, its processes and how it meets our needs.
The United States Government has decide to lower the vote age to 13. You have volunteered with the "Get the Vote Out" program to encourage the new age groups to show up and vote. You need to research our government and what it does for us so that you can explain to 13-17 year olds WHY they should vote.

Task
You will be researching different aspects of our government so that you can encourage others to vote. You and your team will then be creating several methods of advertising on why 13-17 year olds should vote.
- Decide how you are going to capture the attention of your target audience; then create the following to encourage your new fellow voting citizens to come out and vote. Remember you are telling the WHY they should vote.
- You need to have a 1 minute commercial to air on TV
- You need to have a 30 second public service announcement to air over the radio
- You will create a motivational poster convincing fellow citizens WHY they should vote.
