Political parties are not the best source because they only show the best in their candidate and the worst in the opponent.

Political Parties are not a valid source of information about candidates because political parties just categorize candidates. They do not tell why the candidate might feel this way or her/his opinion on everything just that they are a specific party.

Well, it depends on who is talking about who.If the person who is running against the other person. Well, then they might be saying bad stuff about that person so they get the most votes.

Political parties mean very little about a candidate, they generally will alter their views to appeal to the majority of the people. Most politicians fall in the middle of the spectrum on the political scale not at one extreme or the other.

Political parties can be a helpful source of information but do not entirely give a honest showing of a political candidate because a political party is based on ideals of how a government should run and what should and shouldn't be accepted and every person has their own belief on what actions they think should be taken

No candidates aren't a good source of information because they try to get you to think an certain way and get you to vote for who they think is the best choice.

No, because parties will say all most anything to get elected. They usually are attacking the other party instead of promoting what they are for.

I think that they can be, but I think there is more to the candidate than just what the party is. If our country is going to elect one of the candidates to hold an office we should know everything there is to know about the person so we aren't unaware of anything. Its our right to know about them since they are going to be representing our country or state, or even being in charge of our nation. If the candidate or party isn't comfortable with the people knowing about them, they shouldn't be running for office in my opinion.

No I don't think that political parties are a valid source of information about their candidates, because the political way the parties use are just a outline for the candidates. Many politicians also change their point of view during their political career.

Yes and no. The political party kind of sets out what the candidate will represent, but the they don't always have to represent everything the party is for. So the political party gives you an idea about the candidate, but it will not give you a lot of or all the information.

No I don't think political parties are a valid source for information on the candidates. The candidates don't always have all of the same ideas as the party they belong to. They just choose the party that their beliefs are closest to. I think it can help you figure out some information, but not all of it.

Political Parties are probably not the best source to get your information about a party's candidate, because people tend to stretch the truth and make them seem too good to be true just to get votes to get the majority. I would suggest doing your own personal research on the candidates and deciding on who to go for based on that.

No, because the party the candidate will run for will only say the good things about the candidate and ignore the bad things.

I could go yes on this for the simply fact that they are actually working to help their candidate win the election, but my actual state on this would have to be no because a lot of the political parties lie and do other things to make their party look good and to get people interested in things that they do that are things that the people are interested in seeing in their leader.

Political parties do not pose a valid source for candidates. They aren't as important as different things that could pose a treat to candidates.

In my opinion I don't think political parties are a valid source of information about candidates because all they care about is getting the votes and their point of view isn't the best.

Political are a source you can get information but they are not the best source. The family would be the best source because they know them better.
